Prepare for leadership roles in health care

Rush graduates raise the bar in quality care.

Since 1975, the College of Health Sciences has been responsible for education and research in the allied health professions. Seeking to provide the growing health care industry with superb health practitioners, managers, researchers and leaders, Rush educational programs integrate care, research, and service in an academic medical center setting.

The Rush teacher-practitioner model brings theory, clinical practice and real-life learning to the classroom. Current practitioners teach students the realities of clinical and operational environments. Students also benefit from small class sizes and excellent faculty-to-student ratios.

Rush graduates advance the quality and availability of health care through excellence in education, research and scholarship, community service and patient care. Students take pride in serving their neighbors by engaging in community service throughout the Rush Medical Center and local, national and international communities. Faculty and students make contributions to research, which is incorporated in curricula and is an integral part of the college’s mission and vision.
