We do our Best to Invest in your Future!

Let us help you reach your goals.

Many RUSH students require financial assistance or guidance to fund their futures. Appreciating the investment, as well as the rewards, is an important step in your decision-making process.

The Office of Student Financial Aid supports RUSH students with funding options to cover expenses related to your education. Funding options may include student loansgrants and scholarships, as well as work-study options. Differences in tuition, costs, available grants and loans vary for each college. On average, 80 percent of non-doctoral nursing and non-PhD biomedical sciences programs receive some form of loan assistance.

Applying for financial aid – important application deadlines

Students wishing to start the Financial Aid process will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Rush’s school code is 009800. The FAFSA opens as early as October 1st each year for the upcoming fall semester enrollment. The Office of Student Financial Aid Office can provide assistance to students who are applying for financial aid. Students seeking to enroll in the Generalist Entry Master’s nursing program who are under the age of 30 on the first day of class will need to include parental information on the FAFSA to be considered for institutional aid programs.

Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA early in the admissions process. Completing this information early allows the Office of Student Financial Aid Office process a financial aid package early. Having early access to your financial aid package will allow you to make an informed financial decision regarding attendance at Rush. If you are a continuing student or a student starting in the fall, RUSH University’s priority deadline for applying is in March. As with applying for admissions, it is critical to apply before established deadlines.

If you are a new student starting in a term other than fall, you should apply at least two months prior to your start date to allow time for processing your aid application.
